Todd is a
rarity in the Seattle area - an actual native. He began playing the saxophone at
the age of nine, and picked up the drums two years later. He continued drumming
throughout high school and college at WSU. After graduation, he worked in
numerous bar bands, rocking his way through the Seattle scene of the 70's, 80's,
and 90's at gigs ranging from the Spud Shed Tavern in Quincy, Washington to
Seattle’s historic Moore Theater. Eventually he returned to his first love - the
saxophone. Studying for 11 years with jazz legend Don Lanphere, Todd continues
to hone his chops in various ensembles and big bands in the Seattle area.
Todd lives with his wife and a
few thousand CD's. |

Brad Benefield |
Brad first picked up the guitar at the
age of 10, and hasn't put it down since. Growing up in Virginia, he
first learned to improvise playing bluegrass music, and added banjo, mandolin, and fiddle
to his list of instruments. After earning his Bachelor of
Music degree in Classical Guitar from California State
University, he moved from Los Angeles to Austin, TX., where he dove into the
rich music scene there, spending ten years playing with a variety of
classical, jazz, blues, and country groups.
Since 1990, he has lived with his wife
and two daughters in the Seattle area, where he performs regularly at
clubs, hotels, and private functions, and is slowly filling his basement
with stringed instruments.
